This happened a while back, but I recently found the picture and it made me smile. The following is a bit of Pareidolia I noticed one morning at breakfast. A peanut butter toast bird. :)

We've got our first proper snowy day of the season in Cedar Falls today. Walking home I was enjoying the pleasant juxtaposition of a warm from walking body with a slightly snow numbed face. About half way home I caught a wiff of pipe smoke from a car waiting at a stop sign. This all combined to make me think about my Grandfather, Joseph Ebeling.

Here's another one of those things you never expect before you have children...

In a post last summer, I talked about a pleasant afternoon brewing beer with my buddy DeWayne. While we had a few mishaps that day, overall the process went pretty smoothly. I've now gone through the whole process of brewing, secondary fermentation, bottling and......waiting.

Sam and I played around with a live video streaming site called qik.com after work tonight. They have apps available for a wide selection of cellphones, including several blackberry models, including the one I recently purchased (more on that in a post this weekend).
